The Hook-Up Culture

Author:
Jenna Bellini

Jenna Bellini is a freshman majoring in Business Management in the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. She is from New York, and thoroughly fits the stereotype of the typical headstrong New Yorker who sets her mind on something and then refuses to let anything stand in her way. She plans to eventually change the traditional American business model in a way that incorporates charitable aspects into the world of profits. Although people roll their eyes at hearing that plan, it makes her even more determined to make it happen just to prove them wrong.

A Super-Brain on Sale

Author:
Mohammad Khalil

Mohammad Khalil is a freshman student at Fullerton College. After four years of hard work in a cutthroat competitive high school, he is glad to be at a junior college. His parents and family mean everything to him as he is still the baby of the house even at 18, still bossed around by his older brother, and still picked on for his short height. Though his resume looks very business-based, his major is Computer Engineering.

A Little Man with a Big Impact

Author:
Michael Sama

Standing at a debated five feet nine inches tall, Nate Robinson is not a typical basketball player. Entering the National Basketball Association (NBA) this upcoming year, Nate was drafted as the 21st pick in the first round. The pick belonged to the Phoenix Suns, yet the New York Knicks was the team who chose to draft him because they received that pick in a trade right after the draft concluded. The NBA is a league of giants; it is extremely hard to be successful and short, yet it is possible.

No Place for Tagging

Author:
Mike Morris

Everyone in one way or another loves to express what they feel. Many people use words or writing. Their intention for speaking their mind is to get other people to get their point of view. Many people who choose to write often will sit down to a pad and paper; however there are still some who take a very different approach, people called taggers, and the way that they choose to express themselves is through graphic presentations on buildings and billboards worldwide.
